5th Element Center for Dance’s youth dance company, The 3rd Law, is a pre-professional program that provides vigorous training and competition opportunities for students ages 4 to 18. The dance company program provides opportunities for dancers to receive scholarships, awards, and performance opportunities through conventions and competitions.
The competition team will be selected through an audition process in the Winter 2024. The inaugural dance company program will accept 20 dancers ages 11 to 18.
All inaugural company dancers will be required to take ballet, one other non-hip hop style, one hip hop foundation class, 5E Hip Hop Choreo, one other hip hop choreography class, and both engagement classes, as well as attend weekly company rehearsals.
In addition to their exemplary talent and hard work, company dancers are leaders in the community at 5th Element Center for Dance and are expected to uphold our core values by embodying safety, empowerment, consideration, inclusivity, honor, and connection in their interactions with others.
